2. The facility consists of one above ground 4,000 steel tank for the storage of domestic septage discharged from recreational vehicles. The waste from any recreational vehicle that is being used as a permanent residence is

with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

prohibited from being stored in the tank.
3. The tank is connected to individual RV spaces via and underground pipe. The RVs will only be at this location
for a short period of time and un-used the rest of the year. The tank appeared to be structurally sound. According to Mr. Trollinger, The tank was empty and has been used.
4. A “No Trespassing” will need to be placed on, or near, the tank before use.
5. Buffer requirements appear to have been met.
6. As a reminder, permit operating condition 11 states: “Records shall be maintained in accordance with the
Septage Management Rules. These records shall reflect the date and amount when waste is added or removed from the storage tank. Waste shall not be stored in the tank for a time frame longer than six months as per 15A NCAC 13B .0841(r). These records shall be made available to a representative of the Division upon request.” An example of a log is included with this report.
