Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. Inspected vehicle in regards to issuance of firm permit. Tag# & VIN# correct per the firm application. The tank appears structurally sound & securely attached. Outlet covers were on and no drips/leaks were noted. The lettering was correct on both sides of the vehicle per info on the firm application. However the town name “High Point” was borderline on the size requirement (3 inches) and also was outlined in silver on a white tank. Mr. Roberts stated that he would have the town name outlined in black which would increase the size/legibility. 2. Reviewed the info that shall be maintained on the truck pumping log – gave Mr. Roberts an example form. Also discussed the firm permit renewal process at the end of the year. 3. I contacted the Raleigh Central office after the truck inspection. The firm permit was issued later on this day.
