AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS:
On April 21, 2009, John Patron met with Gerald Peddychord and conducted an update compliance audit of the Land
Clearing and Inert Debris Landfill located at 5910 Belews Creek Road in Walkertown, Forsyth County.
1. LCID material has been removed from atop the graded portion of the landfill and placed along the slope.
2. Mr. Peddychord was reminded that LCID material should not be stockpiled atop the graded portion of the landfill.
3. Mr. Peddychord was told that LCID material must be adequately covered with soil (including all slopes) on a
monthly basis.
4. The slope along the side of the LCID landfill should be graded such that it does not impound water.
5. The mulch, on -site, should be routinely turned and placed in a windrow. An effort should be made to remove/use
the mulch as soon as possible.
6. The site is secured by a gate and chain. Mr. Peddychord was asked to place a lock on the gate.
7. Mr. Patrone told Mr. Peddychord that the SWS would re -inspect the LCID landfill and that he must ensure that
LCID material is routinely covered and that the slopes along the side (of the landfill) are properly graded.
