STATUS OF PERMIT:
Land Clearing and Inert Debris Landfill Notification application filed for recordation in the Forsyth County Register of
Deeds' Office on January 18, 1994.
Current status of Land Clearing and Inert Debris Landfill Notification is OPEN
PURPOSE OF AUDIT:
Compliance Audit (to ensure that the Land Clearing and Inert Debris (LCID) Landfill is in compliance with 15A North
Carolina Administrative Code (NCAC) 13B .0563, .0564, and .0566).
NOTICE OF VIOLATION(S):
None.
You are hereby advised that, pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for
each violation of the Solid Waste Statute or Regulations. For the violation(s) noted here, you may be subject to enforcement actions
including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such
further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS:
None.
AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS:
On April 21, 2009, John Patrone conducted a compliance audit of the Land Clearing and Inert Debris Landfill located on
Walnut Cove Road (Hwy 311 South) in Walkertown, Forsyth County,
1. Mr. Weatherman was reminded to limit the size of the working face to the smallest area feasible.
2. The LCID material must be adequately covered with soil on a monthly basis. All material placed in the LCID
landfill is required to be covered (with soil). The slope should be graded and covered such that a 3:1 slope
ratio is obtained or a ratio of which no indication of erosion or runoff is observed.
3. The facility appeared to have borrow material available for soil cover.
4. As discussed, the facility shall only accept those solid wastes which it is permitted to receive. The facility shall
not accept construction and demolition (C&D) debris and pallets.
5. Logs stored on -site should be removed every three or four months.
6. The facility is secured by means of a gate.
7. The facility had proper signage
8. A copy of the rules pertaining to Notified LCID landfills will be mailed to Mr. Weatherman.
9. The facility is located on the left (small orange sign) across from No. 6851 Walnut Cove Road, at the end of a
tree -lined gravel road. The Abundant Life Christian Ministries is on the corner.
