You are hereby advised that, pursuant to N. C G.S. 130A 22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation
of the Solid Waste Statute or Regulations. If the violation(s) noted here continue, you maybe subject to enforcement actions including penalties,
injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary
to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS:
None
AREAS OF CONCERN AND COMMENTS:
1) Certifications: WaSme Bell expires November 18, 2009
2) Service area. Pitt, Beaufort, Pamlico, Craven, Lenoir, Greene, Jones, Wayne, Wilson, Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax;
Northampton, Bertie, Martin, Chowan, Washington, Tyrell, and Hyde.
3) Average daily tonnage:190 TPD
4) Based on the Facility annual reports submitted by C&D landfill Inc, it was revealed that this facility
has been receiving waste from outside of its service area for 5 of the past 7 years. These counties
include Pasquotank, Perquimons, Currituck, Carteret and Dare.
5) C&D landfill must submit a plan to prevent waste from being accepted by the. facility that is from
outside the service area.
6) This plan must be submitted to the Division by July 10, 2008
Corrective actions are needed as a result of this Audit.
