The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and
any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. Please place a "No Trespassing" sign on access roads or paths crossing or leading to the tank as
required by 15 NCAC 13B .0841(k). The sign can also be placed on the tank itself.
2. No evidence of leakage or spills was observed; easy access around the tank was maintained.
3. Vectors were not present at the time of inspection nor were objective odors observed.
4. Septage appears to have been transferred to/from the detention facility in a safe and sanitary manner.
5. Approved setbacks appear to have been met.
6. There appears to be waste stored in the facility. It does not appear that septage is being stored in the facility
for more than 6 months.
7. Facility log records were sent on via fax to the Asheville Regional Office on 6/20/14 and appeared to be up to
date.
