The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and
any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

1. Conducted a new pumper truck vehicle inspection and reviewed pumping/discharge logs for Rowan
Septic Tank & Ditching Company Co. Inc.
2. The vehicle is a 2006 Freightliner truck with a white cab and red tank, VIN # IFUJA6AV26LW06494,
License Plate # YA 118945.
3. The vehicle is properly lettered on both sides with company name, city (Salisbury), phone number (704-
633-2414), and permit number (NCS-00008).
4. The tank (3650 gallon) appeared to be structurally sound and properly affixed to the truck frame. All
valves are in good operating order, and caps were present on all access ports.
5. Reviewed pumping and discharge logs. Well maintained records for pumping locations/discharge
locations, dates, types, and quantities.
6. Photos taken of the truck attached.
7. The new vehicle is to be added to the facility's current vehicle listing (seven vehicles) and none are being
removed from service.
