1. Materials noted on site as part of the mulching/chipping operations included primarily Land Clearing materials
and the waste stream appeared to be clean and controlled.

2. Note that the purpose of this type of facility notification is for the treatment and processing of land clearing
materials, not for long term storage and/or disposal on site of these materials. Several piles appear to have not
been managed/turned or removed for a period of time (vegetative growth).

Discussions (early 2009) with Steve Cannon (DOT) indicated that this material would be utilized on the R-
0505 contract and/or use as flowerbeds along the I-26 corridor.
Please continue to maintain a clean waste stream (no plastic or other unacceptable materials) and to maintain
your set -back and operational requirements.
