V. PHOTOGRAPHS
Photo 1: Residential apartments under construction in foreground of Theron property with
parking deck in background.
Met with Mr. Trinh DeSa to observe H&H gravel/piping inspection prior to installation of
VIMS barrier in section of floor slab of apartment building under construction. While on-
site, it was pointed out by the PE to the construction crew that several sections of VIMS
piping would require additional gravel installed under them, and a concrete pad under
future stairwell (Photograph 5) would require an alternate sealing method due to
required 2’ x 2” area in center of pad where a vertical steel beam will have to be bolted
into the concrete pad. H&H to reinspect these requested repairs the following day

Photo 3: During inspection, several areas identified where additional gravel required under
horizontal piping. Gravel to be installed later in day, with follow up inspection by H&H the
following morning.

piping to prevent condensation collection. Future riser visible next to concrete column.

then transition back to screened piping within small gravel field in future stairwell.
