Wooden pallets were collected left of the entrance road. No unacceptable wastes were visible in this location.
Greenhouse wastes were collected at the end of the entrance road near the sorting equipment. Incoming
material was stockpiled', placed in the sorting equipmene to separate vegetation from plastic containers, and
the discarded plastic was then placed into a storage pile (walled with wooded pallets to prevent issues with
windblown wastes) for recycling/reuse.
4. Waste materials which could not be recovered or composted in accordance with the permit conditions were
placed in a roll -off waste container on site. Mr. Huske was notified (via phone) that all containers for storage
of solid waste should be maintained in such a manner as to prevent the creation of a nuisance or unsanitary
conditions. Additionally, if the waste containers receive any garbage (putrescible wastes) they must be
durable rust resistant, non -absorbent, water -tight, rodent proof, and easily cleanable containers with a close
fitting fly -tight cover, when applicable. The facility was working with their primary source of green house
wastes to ensure a clean waste stream.
As the facility only recently started to accept wastes, no active composting was occurring at the site during the
inspection.
