Mr. Patrone, of this office, spoke with Jim Bryan, Overdale Holdings, Inc. (c. 336-345-
7793) regarding facility operation. He stated that currently the site/property is receiving
beneficial fill only and crushing concrete. The beneficial fill and concrete are being
used/will be used for site preparation for a recycling facility and parking area.
Mr. Bryan stated that he is awaiting a permit to recycle C&D waste from the SWS. If
received, construction will begin on a TS type C&D recycling facility (concrete slab with
covered recovery line and open tipping floor), unless approve otherwise.
Mr. Bryan stated that in the coming months he may begin operation of the Notified LCID
landfill and plans to only accept beneficial fill but wants the flexibility to accept other
acceptable debris.
Mr. Patrone reminded Mr. Bryan that the Notified LCID landfill must meet all setbacks
and have two acres designated to its operation.
Mr. Bryan stated that the Notified LCID landfill is not currently in operation.
On May 20, 2010, Mr. Patrone conducted a site visit to verify the aforementioned. The
facility appears to be under construction and appears to also be conducting a beneficial fill
operation.
