Hey Jackie,
In accordance with your April 20, 2020 letter regarding the Initial Sediment Boil Evaluation at the subject site, I am
providing the requested monthly update via this email.
3-23-21 Inspection by Susan Heim of NCDEQ
Susan Heim (NCDEQ), Max Hopkins (RJRT), and Dave Wasiela (ERM) inspected the landfill. No activity related to the boil
area was observed. The silt fencing was still in place. A small amount of clear water was seeping from the cap surface in
an area near the sediment boil. No other problems were found.
4-5,6-21 Semiannual Sampling Conducted by ERM
ERM performed the routine, semiannual sampling at the site. ELL survey was scheduled to be conducted by BLE on 4-5-
21 as well but had to be rescheduled. ERM working to get the survey work scheduled as soon as possible.
