At time of inspection there was not a “NO TRESPASSING” sign located at the entrance to the tank. This is a violation of Rule .0838(k) that states “Access roads or paths crossing or leading to the facility shall be posted with “NO TRESPASSING” signs.”

Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
“No Trespassing” sign missing Tanks accessible for inspection.
1 – Site needs “No Trespassing” sign. This violates Rule .0838(k) 2 – Tanks are accessible for inspection
3 – Tanks appear to be structurally sound 4 – No septage on the ground by the tanks 5 – No vector problems or objectionable odors noted
6 – Setbacks appear compliant 7 – Septage appears to be used in a timely manner
