ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. No visible steam or smoke was visible at the site at the time of this inspection. Mr. Cash stated that there has been no
hot spots or smoke since just before Christmas.
2. The site was mostly covered with soil. Once the soil has dried out, Mr. Cash was instructed to add additional soil to
adequately cover the waste and grade the site to remove the ruts and properly slope the side slopes.
3. Mr. Cash inquired as to whether he could reopen to accept waste. Mr. Cash was advised that additional buried waste
that was located outside of the surveyed edge of waste markers, needed to be removed and placed within less than
two -acre footprint defined with the edge of waste markers.
4. Once Mr. Cash has the site in compliance, he may be able to resume operations. A follow up compliance inspection
for this site is necessary.
5. Due to the recent rule change, Mr. Cash stated that he would be weighing his options for obtaining a full LCID permit,
obtaining a permit for an air curtain incinerator, or completely closing the landfill.
6. Corrective measures to bring the site into compliance are necessary and must be completed.
