IV. Inspector Comments
V. PHOTOGRAPHS
Photo 1: View of site looking northeast.
Met with Mr. Icenhour and reviewed VIMS installation progress. During site inspection,
met with construction superintendent, discussed active and passive VIMS areas, slight
relocation of one soil gas plenum and addition of third soil gas plenum in southern corner
of future tenant space (not proposed in VIMS design). Discussed future tenant pour back
areas and required repairs to VIMS barrier prior to enclosing building envelope.

Photo 4: Another pour back area in South corner of High Rise portion of building. Pour-back
areas contain stockpiled materials and debris, and VaporBlock-20 VIMS barriers within these
areas are in generally poor condition.
Photo 5: Close-up of VIMS barrier (Vaporblock-20) in tenant pour-back area. Cuts,
penetrations, and debris (including concrete block) can be seen in photo. Barriers to be
replaced in these sections according to Mid Atlantic following construction activities.
