FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 3 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) The required signage was present at Field 2. 2) The access road was in good shape. 3) Required markers were present. 4) No septage discharges noticed outside of the permitted boundaries. 5) Applications appeared to follow the nutrient management plan. No spot dumps or thick applications noticed. Appears that Field 1 was being used heavily due to the coating of solids noticed on the vegetation. Field 2 did not appear in use recently. 6) Fescue was present in both permitted fields. The fescue stand does need improvement. Some weed control needed. Broadleaf weeds present in both fields. The new field (field previously permitted to Bill McClain years ago) was marked to meet setback distances and GPS’d. Markers were placed while Connie and myself were on site. The crop stand of fescue was not adequate enough to permit the field for immediate use. 7) No objectionable odors noticed today. Slight odor noticed on Field 1 due to recent applications 8) No recent application noticed. pH not checked. 9) Setbacks for Fields 1 and 2 appear to be as the site was permitted. Tobacco was planted in the fields bordering Field 2. There was a 50 ft distance between the permitted field and the tobacco field. 0BPicture of field Marlon is looking to add. 1BPicture of Field 1.
