Brownfields Project No. 23020-19-036
Dear Mr. Weatherly:
Per your request, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Brownfields
Program has reviewed the continued occupancy of the building located at 130 Performance
Drive, Belmont, North Carolina by Dry Pro Basement Systems, Inc. beginning November 1,
2019. In accordance with the Draft Brownfields Agreement for the Beltex Mill Brownfields
Property forwarded March 9, 2020, specifically per Land Use Restriction 15.g, Dry Pro
Basement Systems, Inc. may continue to occupy the building. Please contact me if there are any
future changes in site use per the requirements of the Brownfields Agreement.
Be advised that this approval from the Brownfields Program does not waive any applicable
requirement to obtain any necessary permits or licenses, nor does it waive any requirement to
comply with applicable law for such activities. If you have questions about this correspondence
or require additional information, please feel free to contact me by phone at 919-707-8159 or by
