Hey Jackie,
In accordance with your April 20, 2020 letter regarding the Initial Sediment Boil Evaluation at the subject site, I am
providing the requested monthly update via this email.
8-25-20 ERM Implements Approved Excavation Plan
ERM investigated the boil area as planned. All work was completed on 8-25-20. The conduit for the sediment boil could
not be identified. No problems were found at the anchor trench near the boil area. The report for this investigation is
currently under final review. We will be setting up a virtual meeting to review the report with you shortly.
—8-28-20 Site Maintenance Work Completed
This maintenance work included mowing the site and making significant repairs to the site access road. Also, two low
spots in the soil cover were leveled and resown.
9-16,17-20 Significant Rainfall Event.
9-16-20: 0.22"
9-17-20: 2.21"
Therefore, planned to perform a documented cap inspection as required.
9-18-20 Cap and Boil Inspection Performed
No signs of any activity related to the boil area were observed. Grass was starting to grow in the area disturbed during
the excavation. The silt fencing was still in place. No other problems were found with the cap.
