The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 - This facility has required signage and has locking gates at the entrance.
02 - The service area is Pasquotank and Camden Counties.
03 - The access roads are constructed of all-weather materials. 04 - Waste is being transported to WM-Atlantic Waste Disposal Landfill in Waverly Va. or transported to East Carolina
Regional Landfill (permit# 08-03) in Aulander, Bertie Co.
05 - 1 Leachate tank is full and needs to be pumped out ASAP. Albemarle Septic Service, LLC has been called.
Tank was pumped during the inspection of the 7002 CDLF.
06 - Facility Certified Transfer Station Operations Specialist and 1, MOLO listed below with expiration dates included. Janice V. Brown – expires October 19, 2022 Rick O. 07 - Windblown trash was minimal at this facility during working hours and this inspection. 08 - Screening records were available and reviewed and were up to date. 09 - No current leaking found from stored trailers waiting to be transported to the Landfill.
10 - The tipping floor was clean during this inspection. Could use more attention behind the push walls. 11 - The trailer loading bay was free of waste and clean during operating hours. 12 - Scrap metal is pulled from the waste stream at this facility and is placed into containers for recycling. 13 - Operating hours for this facility are: Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm and Saturday, 8am to 12pm.
14 - Scale tickets were not reviewed during this inspection. All tickets are kept at the scale house and on the computer. 15 - The LOS Permit to Operate was issued 1/22/2020 and expires 6/14/2054. 16 - Noted on last inspection: One item of concern is the wear on the tipping floor. There are several areas
where the rock is visible and coming up and also one area where rebar is visible: Work is slated to begin the weekend of October 23-25 with Osborn Contracting LLC of Greer SC. https://www.osborninc.com/. 17 - Digital pictures taken during this inspection with some attached to this report.

• Front of Transfer Station free of windblown trash. Signage and fencing for security.
• Full leachate tank (pumped out during inspection of CDLF) and clean tipping floor during working hours.
