SUBJECT: Incident 3893, Colonial Pipeline Company, Greensboro
Junction Tank Farm, Guilford County
Based on the sampling data submitted by the Colonial
Pipeline Company, it appears that the remedial activities that
were undertaken have adequately treated the soils affected by the
January 23, 1989, spill of tank #812. Therefore, it is the
recommendation of the WSRO that this incident be closed. Copies
of the first and second soil sampling periods are enclosed.
