Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. There are some hay bales located along the perimeter of the field, along the woodline, which need to be removed. 2. Field markers appear accurate but some posts were cut. Also some posts along the woodline were obscured with excess vegetation which needs to be removed. 3. It appears that land application/irrigation has occurred. No odors noted. It was raining during this visit. 4. No sign of land application outside the permitted boundaries. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met but were not measured at this time. 5. The required signs are posted and the access road is passable. 6. The field will need to be harvested & the winter cover crop established as per the approved nutrient management plan. 7. Soil samples shall be taken & submitted by the permit holder this fall. 8. The required continuing education hours for the SLAS permit shall be obtained by the permit holder before the end of 2020.
