COMPOST, 484 Hickory Grove Rd, Clinton, Sampson County
Dear Mr. Scott:
The above referenced compost facility was previously permitted by the Solid Waste Section. The last
permit issued by our office expired in 2016.
We understand that your company submitted an application for the compost facility permit from the
Division of Water Resources, Animal Feeding Operations Program, and that the compost permit with the
Solid Waste Section would not be renewed.
This letter is to follow-up and confirm that the compost permit for the above facility, Permit No. 8203-
COMPOST, issued by the Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section, has been closed.
If the conditions for the compost operation should change, you may apply to re -open the composting
permit with our office.
