OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
At time of inspection there was not a “NO TRESPASSING” located at the entrance to the field. This is a violation
of Rule .0842(a)(2) that states “All access roads or paths crossing or leading to the disposal area shall be
posted “NO TRESPASSING” and a visible and legible sign stating “SEPTAGE LAND APPLICATION SITE” shall be maintained at each entrance to the land application area.”

General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

“NO TRESPASSING” missing
1 – Site needs to replace “NO TRESPASSING” sign 2 – Good access road
3 – Markers are up and appear to be accurate 4 – Septage discharges all appear to be within permitted boundaries 5 – No recent applications noticed
6 – Crops are present in accordance to the nutrient management plan, but foreign grasses beginning to take over growth 7 – No objectionable odors noted 8 – Setbacks appear compliant
