administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1- Inspected a new vehicle

Inspected two older vehicles already on the firm permit.

The tanks were structurally sound and securely attached on all three vehicles. The outlet covers were on and no
drips/leaks were noted on any of the vehicles. The lettering is correct on both sides of all three vehicles per the
information on the firm application.
2- Truck logs were reviewed. The example truck logs are being used and it appears that the required information is
being maintained except that the town name needs to be included in the physical location column. The
permitted storage tanks are not currently being used at the site so are not yet included in the pumping events
recorded on the truck logs.
3- Discussed that the recently corrected firm permit was issued to include the permitted storage tanks (SDTF 78-
23) as a possible discharge location for the trucks. Ensure that all disposal locations (WWTP, SLAS, SDTF) are
listed on the application for the firm permit renewal this winter.
