NOV 1 0 2011 SOLID WASTE SECTION ASHEVILLE REC=I&AL OFFICE RE: Landfill Number 6, Permit Number 44-06, Compliance Inspection of September 22, 2011 Dear Ms. Keller: Thank you for the audit report resulting from your inspection visit of September 22, 2011. Note that on that date, the soil erosion observed in the ACM storage area was repaired. Additional ACM was delivered on October 18, 2011, and appropriately covered. I have enclosed photographs showing the ACM area following the repairs. During the month of October and early November, the closure of Area A -West was completed. Also, soil was delivered and spread on Area C-Upper to supplement the cap which had sunk in certain areas due to waste consolidation over time. Additional soil has been delivered to Area C- Lower to fill isolated low spots, but has not yet been spread. This will be accomplished in the near term. Photographs of Areas C-Upper and C-Lower are enclosed. Thank you again for your time and consideration. Please let us know if you have questions at this time.
