The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
01 - Facility has locking gate for security. Please keep locked when no one is onsite. 02 - Roads are made of all-weather materials and are maintained in good condition.
03 - Signage needs additional information added .0566 (16) Emailed Mr. Jones a copy of the following rule: 15A NCAC 13B .0566 OPERATIONAL REQ. FOR LAND CLEARING/INERT DEBRIS (LCID) LANDFILLS 04 - Some materials appear not to have been covered within the required time noted on the 0.566 (4) rule. 05 - Per the last inspection report dated October 29, 2019, There is still a small amount of waste outside of the landfill footprint. 06 - There was a small amount of Asphalt that was put in standing water .0566 (11) rule. Need to remove. Sent pictures to Mr. Jones. 07 - Ground concrete product looks good and is being used. 08 - This facility is not open to the public. 09 - Side slopes are looking good for the most part. South Corner not quite there. Remember that a 3:1 side slope is required.
10 - Per an email dated, August 05, 2020 sent to John College, Mr. Jones has corrected some of the about deficiencies noted above. 11 - A follow-up site inspection will be conducted to ensure compliance has been met. 12 - Mr. Jones will be notified of this follow-up inspection date and time.
