In accordance with your April 20, 2020 letter regarding the Initial Sediment Boil Evaluation at the subject site, I am
providing the requested monthly update via this email.
6-17-20 Sediment Boil Excavation Plan submitted to NCDEQ
6-18-20 NCDEQ approved Sediment Boil Excavation Plan
7-2-20 Received proposal for implementation of excavation plan from ERM
7-6-20 Planning for access road repairs
Now that the site is drying out, we are finalizing plans to make repairs to the access roads to ensure excavation
equipment can get safely in and out of the site.
7-20-20 Planning for excavation plan implementation
Now that we are experiencing a dryer weather pattern, we are finalizing plans with ERM and RJRT site maintenance
personnel to implement the excavation plan. We will let NCDEQ know our planned start date. The sediment boil has
remained inactive due to drier weather.
