Subject: Greensboro Compost Permit Application, 41‐03
Hi Eric:
After conducting an internal search and inquiry, I find out that Donna Wilson was assigned to review this
compost permit. The reason for the “delay” of the reviewing process is because the compost rule (Section Rule
1400) went through a rule readoption process this year (in fact all NC Solid Waste Management Rules had
gone, are going, and will go through this law-required processes). The new rule – Section 1400 was approved
on 11/01/2019 but just being posted on-line this noon. Donna will start the reviewing processes shortly, and she
can be reached at 919-707-8255.
