Nutrient Management Plan Section G line 4 The bales will be sold to a local farmer or removed off the permitted site. The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The access roads leading to the disposal area were posted with visible and legible signs stating, “NO TRESPASSING, SEPTAGE LAND APPLICATION SITE". 2. The roads accessing the site were passable. 3. The disposal area boundaries were discernable from the surrounding landscape. 4. No discharges were noticed outside of the permitted boundaries. 5. Applications appear to be made in accordance with the nutrient management plan. 6. The crop described by the nutrient management plan is present and is being maintained as prescribed, weed control was needed on field 1W, numerous old and newer hay bales were stockpiled in several locations on the site. Hay bales should be removed off permitted site. 7. No septage applications were made during the site visit. 8. No objectional odors where noticed. 9. Required setbacks appear to be met. 10.
