Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) “No Trespassing” sign was at tank location. 2) Access road in good shape. 3) Tank accessible for inspection. The five (5) feet area around the tank was clear of debris and vegetation. 4) Septage appears to be transferred to and from the tank in a sanitary manner. No septage spills noticed on the ground or on the tank. 5) Inspected one above ground 4,500 gallon steel tank. Tank appears to be structurally sound. No leaks noticed. 6) No odor or vector issues noticed today. 7) No setback issues noticed. 8) Discussed with Marlon about adding another tank. Marlon had mentioned that he would like to bury the tank. Connie reviewed with Marlon the requirements for burying a tank. The area for the tank had been cleared but, no new tank on site today. 0BSignage at tank. 1BThe 4,500 gallon steel tank.
