Groundwater Correction Plan
Request for Time Extension
Greetings:
On behalf of C&D Landfill, Inc., I am pleased to inform you that Summit Design and Engineering
Services (Summit) will be preparing the required NC Solid Waste .0545 Groundwater Corrective
Action Plan. Per our email correspondence of June 3, 2020, 1 am requesting a one-time, 30-day time
extension for the submittal deadline, originally due June 9, 2020.
The CAP will focus on Monitored Natural Attenuation (MNA) and Closure of Phase 1 of the CDLF as
the selected remedy. The document will meet the requirements of 15A NCAC 13B .0545, 15A NCAC
2L, and the NC Solid Waste Section Guidelines for Corrective Action at Solid Waste Management
Facilities. I will contact you during the upcoming week for further guidance in preparation of this
document.
