The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 – This facility is secured by fencing and locking gate.
02 – Roads are made of all-weather material and maintained in good condition. 03 – This facility is located at the Rose Brothers Paving Plant. 04 – There is NO LCID material at this notified LCID facility. Concrete has been ground and used. 05 – Signage is present and is located at the LCID area. 06 – During this inspection, there was a small pile of construction and demolition waste noted the wasn’t generated on-site. This waste is in need of removal to a permitted facility. 07 – Mr. Perry is going to remove the waste and take it to The Bertie County Regional Landfill (0803-MSWLF) and keep landfill receipts. Please notify John College @919-268-1524 or [e-mail] when waste has been removed.
08 – A follow-up inspection will be conducted around 30 days of the issuance of this report to ensure compliance has been met. 09 – Digital pictures were taken during this inspection and some are attached to this report.
