The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

2) For the pumper vehicle, the required lettering was on a sign that was mounted to both side frames of
the truck bed. The tankers had one sticker with all the information on both sides of the tankers. All
required lettering for the pumper vehicle and tankers was 3 inches or greater in height. The signs
mounted to the pumper vehicle were only screwed to the frame at the top. I required the signs to also
be screwed into the frame at the bottom. Guard railing on the vacuum tanker partially blocked the Firm
name and permit number. I requested that the Firm name and permit number be added to the guard
railing. Pictures were emailed to me on 04/22/2020 to show that the items I requested had been
completed. See pictures below.
3) The tank on the pumper vehicle and the tankers were made of steel and properly affixed as per 15A
NCAC 13B .0835(a)(1).
4) The valves appeared to be in working order and closed as per 15A NCAC 13B .0835(a)(2). Caps present
on ports.
5) Access ports were properly sealed with lids that were closed as per 15A NCAC 13B .0835(a)(3).
6) No leaks noticed as per 15A NCAC 13B .0835(a).
7) With requested items completed, pumper vehicle and tankers in compliance with the Septage Rules.
