The scope of services included the installation of one monitor well in the former dispenser island (MW-9) and measuring the relative top-of-casing elevations of the new monitor well in relation to the existing site monitor wells MW-1 and MW-3. The scope of services was completed as proposed, with the exception of being unable to locate MW-1 and MW-3. Fourteen compounds were detected in the sample collected from monitoring well MW-9 on January 8, 2020 at concentrations greater than their respective 15A NCAC 2L .0202 Groundwater Quality Standards, including 1,2- dibromethane detected at a concentration greater than the Gross Contamination Level. Field data sheets and the laboratory report are attached. If you have any questions or comments regarding this report, please contact us at your convenience. Sincerely, S&ME, Inc. 413/525-2332 *QC result is outside of established limits. Wide recovery limits established for difficult compound. Wide RPD limits established for difficult compound. #Data exceeded client recommended or regulatory level Percent recoveries and relative percent differences (RPDs) are determined by the software using values in the calculation which have not been rounded. No results have been blank subtracted unless specified in the case narrative section. FLAG/QUALIFIER SUMMARY Detected but below the Reporting Limit (lowest calibration standard); therefore, result is an estimated concentration (CLP J-Flag). J Laboratory fortified blank/laboratory control sample recovery and duplicate recoveries outside of control limits. Data validation is not affected since all results are "not detected" for associated samples in this batch and bias is on the high side. L-02 Either laboratory fortified blank/laboratory control sample or duplicate recovery is outside of control limits, but the other is within limits. RPD between the two LFB/LCS results is within method specified criteria. L-07 Elevated reporting limit due to high concentration of target compounds.RL-11 Continuing calibration verification (CCV) did not meet method specifications and was biased on the high side. Data validation is not affected since sample result was "not detected" for this compound.
