TAKE NOTICE that a verified Complaint was filed by Richard M. Farrell ("Plaintiff") on October31, 2019, alleging that Kathleen Ruth Farrell ("Absentee") has been missing since September 8,
1996, and requesting appointment of a temporary and permanent receiver pursuant toN.C.G.S §§ 28C-1 et seq.. Absentee’s last know address was 108 Point Lake Drive, Apt. 7239,Charlotte, NC 28105. On December 9, 2019, the Court appointed Louis A. Waple as Guardianad Litem for Absentee and R. Michael Allen as Temporary Receiver of Absentee’s Estate. OnJanuary 8, 2020, Mr. Allen filled an Inventory identifying assets of Absentee with a total value of
$61,803.87. Petitioner is presently the only known person having an interest in Absentee’s Es-tate if she were found to be deceased or in Absentee’s property.
All person claiming an interest in Absentee’s Estate or her property are hereby directed to filewith the Court a writte statement identifying the nature and extent of the interest claimed in theproperty no later than April 16, 2020, and to subsequently appear for a hearing before theCourt on April 20, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 6310 of the Mecklenburg County Courthouse,

Pursuant to NCGS § 130A-310.34, CUSA N.C. Holdings, L.P., as Prospective Developer, hasfiled with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (“DEQ”) a Notice of Intent toRedevelop a Brownfields Property (“Property”) in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Caroli-na. The Brownfields Property consists of 0.533 acres and is located at 431, 500, and 508Charles Avenue. Historical uses include residential, commercial, and retail businesses. The for-
mer Chadbourn Mill Brownfields Property (BP Project No. 20086-16-060) adjoins the Brown-fields Property to the west, south, and east. Environmental contamination exists on the Brown-fields Property in soil and groundwater. CUSA N.C. Holdings, L.P. has committed itself to highdensity residential, retail, office, hotel, recreational, open space, parking, restaurant, brewery orfood production facility, entertainment, amenity space, and, subject to DEQ’s prior written ap-
proval, other commercial uses on the Brownfields Property. The Notice of Intent to Redevelopa Brownfields Property includes: (1) a proposed Brownfields Agreement between DEQ andCUSA N.C. Holdings, L.P., which in turn includes (a) a map showing the location of the Proper-ty, (b) a description of the contaminants involved and their concentrations in the media of theProperty, (c) the above-stated description of the intended future use of the Brownfields Proper-
ty, and (d) proposed investigation and remediation; and (2) a proposed Notice of BrownfieldsProperty prepared in accordance with NCGS § 130A-310.35.

Written public comments may be submitted to DEQ within 30 days after the latest of the fol-lowing dates: the date this Notice is (1) published in a newspaper of general circulation servingthe area in which the Brownfields Property is located, (2) conspicuously posted at the Brown-fields Property, and (3) mailed or delivered to each owner of property contiguous to the Brown-
fields Property. Written requests for a public meeting may be submitted to DEQ within 21 daysafter the period for written public comments begins. Those periods will start no sooner than
March 24, 2020, and will end on the later of: a) 30 and 21 days, respectively, after that; or b)30 and 21 days, respectively, after completion of the latest of the three (3) above-referenceddates. All public comments and public meeting requests should be addressed as follows:

FIBA president Hamane
Niang and secretary gen-
eral Andreas Zagklis says
that in “no circumstance
should our passion to play
basketball surpass the
importance of following
the instructions of the
public authorities” when it
comes to helping ensure
public health.
FIBA says it plans to
make decisions soon
about the Basketball
Champions League, the
Basketball Champions
League Americas and the
Basketball Africa League –
as well as all suspended
international competi-
tions.
FIBA also is monitoring
the Olympic develop-
ments as the world begins
bracing for – and in some
cases, advocating for – a
postponement of this
year’s Tokyo Games.
Since qualifying is not yet
completed, FIBA says
“there is a growing need
for answers to be provided

UEFA announces post-
ponement:UEFA has
formally postponed the
Champions League final
scheduled to be played on
May 30 in Istanbul.
UEFA says no decision
has been made finding a
new date, amid a shut-
down of European soccer
due to the coronavirus
pandemic that has no end
in sight.
Only four teams ad-
vanced to the Champions
League quarterfinals be-
fore the remaining Round
of 16 games scheduled on
March 17-18 were post-
poned.
UEFA says the Europa
League final, due on May
27 in Gdansk, Poland, and
the Women’s Champions
League final, scheduled
for May 24 in Vienna,
Austria, are also post-
poned.
Browns owners make

Haslam are pledging $1.5
million to relief funds in

The team announced
that the Haslams have
earmarked $1 million to
the Greater Cleveland
COVID-19 Rapid Re-
sponse Fund and

bus Foundation’s Emer-

Jets donate to United
Way:The New York Jets
and their owners, the

Giants close team HQ:
The New York Giants
have closed their team
headquarters in the Mead-
owlands because of the

The Giants announced

Quest Diagnostics Train-
ing Center after business
on Friday. Ten days earli-
er they had ordered most
of the team’s personnel to
work remotely from home.

NHL coach remains opti-
mistic:Buffalo Sabres
coach Ralph Krueger is
trying to remain patient
while biding his time back
home in Switzerland and
hoping the NHL’s regular
season will resume even-
tually.
Krueger says he’s “still
hanging on to the possibil-
ity,” and adds he’s been
trying “not to let my brain
go there until that plug is
actually pulled on us.”
