Good Morning Trudy,
I have attempted to send two more public notice letters by certified mail to the one outstanding adjacent
property owner of the Wagner Residence since we last corresponded about this site. They both have also
gotten lost in the mail. I'm not sure what is going on, but for some reason we are not getting the certified mail
return receipts for this one adjacent property owner. At this point, I have sent 4 separate public notice letters
to this one address, and all four have been lost (please see the attached scan of the public notice letters and
tracking information for all four attempts to send the Conditional NFA by certified mail to the Williams
Residence at 2539 Hampton Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28207).
Currently, I have return receipts for 6 of the 7 public notice letters, but it doesn't seem any of the four
Williams Residence return receipts are ever going to be returned to us. I'd be happy to submit all the 6
original letters with their certified mail return receipts, as well as the four Williams Residence letters with
their tracking information if that would satisfy the public notice requirements and enable the our clients to
receive the Final NFA for the Wagner Residence incident. Please let me know if that will be sufficient and I
will submit all of that information. Thank you very much!

Two of the public notice letters for the Wagner Residence, Incident #40963, (originally sent by certified
mail on December 3, 2019) were lost in the mail. Two more copies of the Conditional NFA were sent by
certified mail to this adjacent property owners on January 14, 2020. Of the two that were re -sent on January

14, one has been lost in the mail yet again. I've attached a scan of the tracking information for both
attempts to send the Conditional NFA by certified mail to the Williams Residence at 2539 Hampton
Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28207.
Currently, I have return receipts for 6 of the 7 public notice letters, but it doesn't seem like the second
Williams Residence return receipt is going to be returned in time for us to submit the return receipts to you
by March 1, 2020. I have checked with the Post Office here in Thomasville where we sent these certified
letters from, and they have not been able to track down these return receipts in their system. Please advise
on what we need to do to satisfy the public notice requirements for the Wagner Residence in order to obtain
the Final NFA. Thank you very much!

Hello Trudy,
I sent the public notice for the Wagner Residence, Incident # 40963, on December 3, 2019 (the day we
received the Conditional NFA), but so far only 5 out of the 7 certified return receipts have been returned
to us. The tracking numbers (see attached tracking history) associated with the two outstanding return
receipts indicate that they never made it from the Charlotte, NC Distribution Center to the specific Post
Office that would make the delivery. I inquired about the two return receipts that haven't come back yet
today with the Post Office in Thomasville that we sent them from, and they gave me the number for the
Post Office consumer affairs. I spoke to someone there who said they would look into it and call me
back, but I've yet to hear back from them.
Should I just re -send two new public notice letters for these properties? I'd be happy to do so, but I'm not
sure if I will receive the new return receipts and be able to provide them to you within 60 days of the date
of the Conditional NFA, which would be February 1, 2020. Please let me know what you think would be
the best way to handle this. Thank you very much.
