administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. This site previously was SDTF #04-08 under L & L Environmental Services LLC. Last year L & L
Environmental was sold (the business & the septage treatment facility in Charlotte) and this site in Anson
County was permitted under SDTF # 04-09 for Liquid Waste Inc. No septage has been brought to this site
since the business sale of L & L Environmental. No septage detention has occurred since last year. No
septage treatment has occurred at this site since late 2018/early 2019 when the dewatering box was
relocated back to Charlotte and subsequently included in the business sale of L & L Environmental.
2. This current permit is written as a dewatering permit but there is no dewatering box any longer. Septage
detention may occur in the three permitted tanks (#1, #2 & #3). These three tanks appear structurally sound and
have been empty since the business sale of L & L Environmental last year
3. The required signs are posted & the access road is adequate.
4. The approved setbacks are being met & the required 5’ cleared radius is present around the tanks at this time.
