Truck Spill
Hi Corey,
FYI, I received a call from David Stoner w/ Shield Engineering yesterday. He indicated that 100 gallons of diesel was
released from a truck accident at 5014 North Hwy 49, Concord. He said CCI has responded with absorbents to initiate
cleanup activities and that APEX will be overseeing excavation of impacted soils within next few days.
The suspected responsible party is Best Way Express.
Calvin Deal is the contact with CCI —(704) 796-4026
Apex contact is Troy Holzshuh — (704) 307-1233
I wanted to make sure you were aware of this because David Stoner had indicated that surface water was impacted.
However, he described the surface water impact as a drainage feature that has flowing water; possibly a creek, or
possibly just drainage due to amount of rain lately.
I will be following up with APEX regarding the soil excavation activities.
Thanks,
Brett Morris
