The purpose was to discuss a small triangle of land adjacent to the Davidson Depot Street Brownfields Site. Based on a July 1976 Deed, NCDEQ initially thought your family still owned the section of land. Upon further research and with the assistance of the Town of Davidson, a deed of easement from April 11, 2000 was located. The deed shows the parcel is currently owned by the Town of Davidson. Both documents are attached for your reference. With this information now clear, we need not bother you further about this small triangle parcel. NCDEQ will continue to work with the Town of Davidson, the Prospective Developer, and local community to safely redevelop the Davidson Depot Brownfields Property and implement a long term cap solution. If you have any further questions, please contact Miguel Alvalle or myself.
