Missing sign along with broken sign observed at time of inspection. This is a violation of Rule .0842(a)(2)
that states “All access roads or paths crossing or leading to the disposal area shall be posted “NO
TRESPASSING” and a visible and legible sign stating “SEPTAGE LAND APPLICATION SITE” shall be
maintained at each entrance to the land application area.”
No sign of vegetative cover at time of inspection, but drill marks were noted. This is a violation of Rule .0842(a)(17) that states “approved nutrient management plans shall be followed.”

Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
