iOW WAS THE FIRE REPORTED AND BY WHOM:
�itizens seen black smoke and called the fire department to investigate where the smoke was coming from. The fire department tracked the smoke to the landfill.
-IST ACTIONS TAKEN:
sire department entered the property at 11:33 am and the fire was extinguished by 11:41am. Fire department remained on scene until 12:46 pm. Director and
upervisors reported to the landfill.
NHAT WAS THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE:
\ccording to fire department natural causes (the sun) caused the fire.
DESCRIBE AREA, TYPE, AND AMOUNT OF WASTE INVOLVED:
'ire happened on a concrete pad roughly 40 yards from the transfer station. The fire was in the area where electronics are being recycled. In this area we receive
Aectronics, stack them on pallets and wrap electronics for shipment.
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO PREVENT THIS FIRE:

DESCRIBE PLAN OF ACTIONS TO PREVENT FUTURE INCIDENTS:
We will continue as normal and will shipped electronics as soon as we have enough pallets wrapped for a truck load.
