FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. Once a year on site meeting. Site logs were reviewed and it appears that the required information is being maintained. Soil samples will be taken in the fall of 2020 by the site operator. Dillon Cummings attended the Shallotte training class in September. 2. The winter cover crop has been planted. An adequate cropstand is required for land application to occur this winter. Continue efforts next year to control weeds & improve the Bermuda. 3. The field marker at the back left corner of the site is partly hidden by vegetation – please remove this excess vegetation. Also the field marker at the back right corner is missing and one post at the front of the site is leaning. 4. Land application has occurred on the right field. No odors noted. No sign of land application outside the permitted boundaries. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met but were not measured at this time. No sign of heavy application. 5. The access road is in fair condition and the required signs are posted. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report. _ Phone: (910) 433-3352 Connie S.
