PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Partial Facility Compliance Inspection. STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: Resolved and in Compliance OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 3 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 - This Facility has several Locking gates and fencing for security. 02 - Signage is posted and has required information. 03 - Roads are constructed off all-weather materials and are maintained. 04 - Facility is permitted to receive waste from Edgecombe, Nash, Halifax, Wilson, Martin and Pitt Counties. 05 - The Waste from this Transfer Station is permitted to be taken to The East Carolina Regional Landfill (08-03) and/or to Sampson County Disposal, LLC (82-02). 06 - This facility has 5 Certified Transfer Station Operations Specialist: Larry Moore: expired 05/25/22, Travis D. Hudson: expires 12/08/21, Dennis Cuffee, expires 05/31/22, Gloria A. Mosely: expires 10/20/20 and James Hucks, expires 05/25/22. 07 - The area behind the push walls on the tipping floor need to be washed daily. The tipping floor was clean. 08 - The Trailer load out bay has been cleaned. Spill over waste at a minimal. 09 - The trash under the cat walk has been removed. 10 - There were no trailers leaking leachate onto the ground. Containers have been purchased and in use. 11 - Efforts are being made to clean up old small pieces of trash around tarmac. Looks better. 12 - Records were not reviewed during this inspection. 13 - Inside walls and fans are scheduled to be cleaned this fall or winter. 14 - Digital pictures were taken during this inspection.
