Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. This facility consists of one 100-gallon and one 200-gallon plastic tanks for the storage of domestic septage. Storage or treatment of any liquid or solid waste other than those specified in the approved application for this permit is prohibited. 2. The tanks were empty. 3. The tanks are located in a maintenance area behind a fence. 4. No vegetation was observed around the tanks. 5. Vectors were not present at the time of inspection nor were objectionable odors observed. 6. The permit (SDTF-49-06) will expire on 12/31/2019. A copy of an SDTF permit application and “landowner’s authorization to Operate a Septage Detention or Treatment Facility” was given to Mr. Timothy Arensman of All Seasons Marina.
