Dear Ms. Beverly,
This letter satisfies Sysco Charlotte, LLC ("Sysco") regulatory requirements for Public Notice per the
North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality's ("NC DEQ") compliance inspection that occurred
on December 12t", 2017 at our facility in Concord, NC.
Due to discrepancies notated within the above referenced compliance inspection; Sysco conducted and
submitted a Limited Site Assessment ("LSA") Report to the NC DEC in accordance with the Guidelines
for Assessment and Corrective Action for UST Releases. Upon completion, Sysco submitted the LSA
Report to the NC DEQ's UST Section, Division of Waste Management. The LSA Report results indicated
that soil contamination does not exceed the residential maximum soil contaminant concentrations
(MSCCs), established in Title 15A NCAC 2L .0411. As such, the UST Section determined that the
subject incident to be eligible conditionally for "No Further Action Status". However, final approval is
contingent upon receipt of confirmation that Public Notice requirements have been completed in
accordance with Title 15A NCAC 2L .0409(b). Please note, no groundwater contamination was indicted
within the LSA.
