Thank you for your initial interest in the North Carolina Brownfields Program for the above -
referenced Brownfields Property. At your request, the North Carolina Department of
Environmental Quality (DEQ) has changed the status of the referenced Brownfields Property
Application (BPA) received in November 2016 from "Pending" to "No Further Interest" (NFI).
In accordance with my email to you of May 2, 2018, we are crediting the Redevelopment Now
fee of $30,000 previously paid on the Arbors at East Village BPA to the BPA we received today
from you on the Clayton Spinning Mill site. The Clayton Spinning Mill BPA is under eligibility
review and we will contact you regarding that application shortly.
