We agree that creosote treated railroad ties are similar to creosote utility poles and can be accepted at the site, to be
ground for boiler fuel, and managed in the same manner as the utility poles (storage, pile size, etc.).
Please print this email and include it with the copy of the permit onsite. For the next permit action, the railroad ties
should be added to the text of the approved documents.
