PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT:
Partial Facility Compliance Inspection without records review to review actions taken in response to Facility
Compliance Inspection Report 6712T_INSP_20190625.

STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS:
1) 15A NCAC 13B .0104 (f): RESOLVED; solid waste is being properly stored so as not to create a nuisance,
unsanitary conditions, or a potential public health hazard.
2) 15A NCAC 13B .0402 (1): RESOLVED; the approved operational plans are being followed as specified for
this facility.
3) 15A NCAC 13B .0402 (7): RESOLVED; appropriate methods are being provided to confine material
subject to be blown by the wind within the disposal area. At the conclusion of each day of operation, all
windblown material resulting from the operation is being collected and returned to the area by the operator.

OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
No violations were observed during this Facility Compliance Inspection; please see the ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
section below.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
1) This is a Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste Transfer Facility and a Temporary Disaster Debris
Staging Site (TDDSS) for disaster generated demolition material.
2) Proper signage has been posted at the Facility entrance stating the Facility name and contact information.
3) All C&D waste received by this Facility is transferred to the Maysville C&D Recycling & Recovery Facility,
permit #52-02 in Maysville, NC for recycling.
4) This site is secured by a locked gate at the Facility entrance.
5) The gate was open upon my arrival and attendants were on-site during this Facility Compliance Inspection.
6) No off-site erosion was observed during this Facility Compliance Inspection.
7) The Facility access roads are of all-weather construction and appear well-maintained at this time.
8) Signage is posted adjacent to the scale entrance listed accepted and excluded waste types.
9) An adequate number of trailers are maintained onsite for the volume of waste managed by this Facility.
10) The Temporary Disaster Debris Staging Site has been closed and restored to pre-operative conditions.
11) All incoming waste is being managed through the permitted transfer facility.
12) All incoming waste is being managed in a timely manner.
13) The waste types were reviewed, no unpermitted materials were observed during this Facility Compliance
Inspection.
14) Access around the Facility overall is generally stable and no areas of erosion were noted during this Facility
Compliance Inspection. However, sparse cover inadequate to prevent erosion was observed on the sides of the
transfer station access ramp. *Within thirty days of receipt of this Facility Compliance Inspection Report,
please seed and mulch these areas to establish a groundcover suitable to prevent erosion.
15) *Corrective measures are required as a result of this Facility Compliance Inspection.
