STATUS OF PERMIT:
The Solid Waste Section sent a letter to Mr. Cash on July 24, 2000, stating that they had received the Notification
signed by Mr. Cash. The Notification was recorded in Deed Book 1177 and Page 0679 at the Register of Deeds in
Louisburg, NC.
PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT:
Comprehensive Inspection

The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and
any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
1. The side slopes should be no steeper than 3:1.
2. Insure that adequate soil cover is applied monthly, or when the active area reaches one acre in size,
whichever occurs first.
3. Access roads are of all-weather construction and properly maintained.
4. A sign is posted at the facility entrance.
5. The facility shall only accept those solid wastes which it is permitted to receive. There was minimal unacceptable
waste, but make sure any plastic treated lumber, painted lumber, etc. is removed and disposed of at a permitted
facility.
6. The site appears to be approaching the less than two acres limit for a Notified site and with the area that is left to
fill, a permit from the Solid Waste Section must be obtained.
