The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to S 15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. Site consists of a Notified Land Clearing and Inert Landfill. The facility is approved for the disposal of
land clearing waste, concrete, brick, concrete block, uncontaminated soil, gravel and rock, untreated and
unpainted wood and yard trash.
2. The roadway into the landfill had been constructed out of gravel since the initial inspection performed on
5-17-19.
3. Several loads of soil had been delivered for cover.
4. Mr. Orbison took down a few trees within the landfill foot print. Stumps will remain in the ground and will become
part of the landfill.
5. A load of land clearing debris had been delivered and will be covered by the end of the week.
6. No gate, chain, berm, fence or sign was observed during the inspection to prevent unauthorized access. Number 8
and 16 of the .0566 Operational Requirements for Land Clearing and Inert Debris (LCID) Landfills were pointed
out and discussed. Mr. Orbison stated he would install a sign and cable and email photographic documentation.
Photos of sign and cable across entrance was received 7-25-19.
